Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International

The Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International (14-16 April) once again proved a popular spring target, especially for those for those building towards the early three day events. Set on undulating farmland in a hilly part of Norfolk, the crowds were treated to excellent views of the Alec Lochore designed cross country courses which posed plenty of questions. Classes ran from BE100 to CCI-S 4* – full results here.

Voltaire Design Eland Lodge (1)

Situated in the rolling Staffordshire countryside at Draycott-in-the-Clay, the Eland Lodge cross country courses feature both open mature grassland and areas of woodland. The site is a natural amphitheatre, giving spectators the ability to see almost all of the course from the viewing point. The first visit to the venue for this season (15-16 April) featured classes from BE80 to Novice – click here for the results.

Ascott Under Wychwood (1)

Ascott Under Wychwood prides itself on providing a warm and friendly welcome for competitors and spectators alike, so it was the ideal venue at which to spend the Easter weekend (16-17 April). Set in the rolling hills on the Oxfordshire/Gloustershire border, the event enjoyed great ground and pretty much perfect weather. See full results here.
