Following the announcement of The Howden Way earlier this year, British Eventing are delighted to announce that the first Young Horse Development Days are due to take place in August and September.
Applications are welcome from combinations that meet the criteria detailed below. Once applications have reviewed invitations will be extended to those successful as soon as possible after the closing date.
The Young Horse Development Days will give each combination two training sessions with one focusing on the flat and the other over fences. The sessions will allow for riders to receive expert advice and guidance from coaches who are recognised as leaders in the field of developing young horses.
The Development Days will also serve to select combinations for The Howden Way Young Horse Academy.
