Sally Mcginn from Mind Oddessey will be hosting a series of Sport Psychology webinars over the next few weeks covering a variety of topics. The first webinar will look at your Dreams, Ambitions and Goals. covering Goal Setting, Different Goals and Motivations.
Sally is a Chartered Sports Performance Psychologist and Mental Health First Aider. Based on the Hampshire/Wiltshire borders, she grew up riding ponies and horses, competing up to Intermediate level. After giving up riding, she became an owner with Paul Tapner, with a horse competing through to 5* level. After 28 years in Corporate IT, Sally combined her passion for sport with mentoring people, to qualify as a Sports Psychologist and currently works with GB Para Badminton (aiming for Paris 2024 Paralympics) and National League 1 rugby club RAMS RFC. Sally has also worked with clients which include Challenge and Europro Tour Golfers, GB Aerobatic Pilots, Ice Hockey and Equestrians (across all disciplines), and has written articles for the Horse & Rider Magazine. Sally has a passion for helping sports people fulfil their potential and works with them to improve their performance. She believes that success is achieved through the optimum blend of mental and physical performance and helps clients identify techniques and strategies that they can utilize to improve performance.
