Thank you for your patience while we have been working on the best mechanisms to facilitate the move of Solihull (1) to the new date of Wednesday 1st & Thursday 2nd May.
We appreciate that, with the new dates being mid-week, this is not suitable for all members, particularly our youth members who may be in education in the week. However, we wanted to give another opportunity to compete to those who have recently lost runs due to the weather abandonments, and we are very grateful to the team at Solihull who have stepped up to this challenge.
We are proposing to do the following:-
- Retain the original Solihull (1) schedule and change the dates which means that all entries will be transferred across to the new date.
- All u18 classes will then sadly need to be abandoned, unless there are specific reasons why an u18 competitor wishes to transfer their entry to the new date, if so, please advise the Entries Secretary by email.
- All remaining entries will then be given until 9am on Monday 15th April to notify the entries secretary by EMAIL if they wish to have their entry marked as abandoned and to receive a refund. After that all entries will be considered transferred.
- BE100 entries have all been transferred to Wednesday, but if you would prefer to run on Thursday, please email the entries secretary by 9am on Monday 15th April.
- New entries will be able to be made in the usual manner later today.
At this stage, we do not know what the demand will be, and the Organisers really want to run this new fixture. However, it must be viable and therefore entry levels will be assessed on Wednesday 17th April, and we encourage members to enter ASAP if they do wish to compete.
Those entries that are refunded for the abandonment will receive a minimum of 60% refund.
