Pony squad head to Ireland

This weekend British Eventing has a group of pony riders at Ballindenisk International Horse Trials (20-24 September) for an International Development Trip supported by The Howden Way. The aim of the trip is to give younger riders the experience of an international team competition as part of their competition development.

Riders will have benefitted from the opportunity to participate in pre-competition training prior to their departure for Ireland, which will have hopefully further enhanced their development and helped to build team spirit.

As part of the friendly pony team competition, the following two teams will contest on behalf of Great Britain this weekend (22-24 September):

Team 1:

  • Florence Drewitt on Crossgales Into The Blu
  • Niamh Read on Uptons Deli Carousel
  • Phoebe Woods on Noble Superman
  • Maisie Greening on Cullintra Sunlight

Team 2:

  • Harriet Hanger on Derrygimbla Boy
  • Florence Baron on Muckrim Evan
  • Arabella Henderson on Our Billy Eile
  • Clara Wilson on Atlantic Dreamer

We wish our youth riders the best of luck and hope they have a great time!
