Without our loyal and highly valued community of volunteers, we simply wouldn’t be able to run events, and it is for this reason that we are delighted to open nominations for the BE Volunteer of the Year Awards 2024. These awards, supported by the Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA), recognise and reward the outstanding contribution that volunteers make to British Eventing.
The categories are; Fence Judges of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year.
Nominations will close on 20 February 2025, after which the winners will be announced and awards presented at Badminton Horse Trials 2025 early next season.
BE CEO, Rosie Williams, said; “Our sport’s volunteers are a key part of running British Eventing, and these awards not only celebrate their passion and dedication, but hopefully go some way to expressing our sincere gratitude for their hard work and commitment.
