Without our loyal and highly valued community of volunteers, we simply wouldn’t be able to run events, and it is for this reason that we are delighted to open nominations for the BE Volunteer of the Year Awards 2023. These awards, supported by the Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA), recognise and reward the outstanding contribution that volunteers make to British Eventing.
There are four categories; Fence Judges of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Young Volunteer of the Year and BE Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Sport.
Nominations will close on 20 February 2024, after which the winners will be announced and awards presented at Badminton Horse Trials 2024 early next season.
BE CEO, Rosie Williams, said; “Our sport’s volunteers are a key part of running British Eventing, and these awards not only celebrate their passion and dedication, but hopefully go some way to expressing our sincere gratitude for their hard work and commitment.
