All roads lead to Aspen Cooling Osberton International (3rd – 6th October) this Autumn, and BEDE Events are pleased to confirm the addition of a CCI2*-S to the schedule.
The CCI2*-S joins the Osberton (2) line up for one-year only as it relocates from the South of England fixture. The new addition gives Novice riders a full range of classes to aim for, at both long and short format, FEI and National level.
The CCI2*-L and CCI3*-L take centre stage, with the Agria Equine Restricted Novice three-day returning for a second season. The Novice three-day is restricted to those riders who have not started an FEI class in the past two seasons.
BEDE Events Director Stuart Buntine commented:
“We’re very much looking forward to Osberton this Autumn and are pleased we could accommodate the CCI2*-S into our already busy schedule. This will give those international Novice riders an additional option for their end of season 2*, enabling them to choose between the short or long format. The Autumn courses will run in the opposite direction to those of the Spring event, with plenty of changes to be expected. The long format tracks will also be significantly different to that of last year and will feature increased galloping sections, as more of a traditional three-day track.”
Also returning for a second season is the CCI1* giving grassroots riders a taste of FEI competition as well. The CCI1* will also act as the culmination of the Agria Lifetime Equine BE100 League. The league has given grassroots riders an additional aim for the 2024 season and create increased brand loyalty to British Eventing across the country with its expansion to include events outside of the BEDE network.
This year BEDE Events celebrate their 21st birthday and look forward to welcoming competitors to their end of season party, helping them celebrate a milestone anniversary in style. A schedule of evening entertainment, featuring live music and DJ sets, will be unveiled in due course all taking place in the comfortable surroundings of the British Polo Gin bar.
Entries will open for all classes on 26th August. Full schedule and entry details are available on the BEDE Website.
