With NAF’s support, the recently announced BE80 National Championship Final at Bramham will provide British Eventing members with a unique opportunity to compete in the same setting as many of the sport’s greats.

Helen West, Chief Executive of British Eventing, said, “We couldn’t be happier to be welcoming NAF on board as title sponsors for the Championship. NAF have consistently been long-term supporters of equestrian sport as a whole as well as being an official partner of the British Equestrian Federation with whom they also assist deliver the Clean Sport message.  We look forward to working alongside the team at NAF as well as the team at Bramham who are committed to giving our members a fantastic championship event to remember.”

NAF’s support extends across the entire pathway to Bramham with them also taking title sponsorship across the BE80 national qualifiers which take place at the Area Festivals for the 2023 and 2024 Championships.  They will also further support the association with nutritional advice and guidance wherever possible inline with the work already undertaken with British Equestrian.

NAF said, The NAF Five Star BE80 Championship will provide British Eventing members with the opportunity to compete at one of Britain’s most prestigious horse trials and we are excited to be involved in helping to bring the Championship to fruition for the first time. We have supported both the amateur and professional levels of eventing for many years and we look forward to having the chance to meet the competitors headed to Bramham Park later on this year. The Clean Sport and efficacy messages that we strive to deliver are also key here and the team at NAF is always on hand to assist with any nutritional advice that British Eventing members need.”

Nicholas Pritchard, Event Director at Bramham, said, “We’re very excited to be working with the team from British Eventing and NAF on delivering the inaugural NAF BE80 Championship at Bramham and to give the competitors an amazing experience. Having this competition alongside our CCI4* sections is great for the sport – being aspirational and inspirational for all who visit. We have some great plans in the pipeline after our two years away and are hoping to make Bramham 2022 our best ever.”

The Championship will run on 7 – 9 June 2022. For this year only, the route to the Championship will be through direct qualification – open to eligible combinations who are placed first in any BE80 section run between 3 May 2021-1 May 2022. Qualification for the 2023 Championship will be via the National Qualifier classes at the Area Festivals this season.
