MARS Badminton Horse Trials relaunches its popular mobile app

MARS Badminton Horse Trials has relaunched its popular mobile app for iOS and Android phones. The new and improved app brings all of the previous features back, like live scores and access to a wealth of information about the competition, and what to see, and where to shop at the event in May (7th – 11th May 2025).

Two new features for Badminton 2.0 allow users to follow their favourite riders and receive timely reminders about their progress through the competition, like a 30-minute warning that Yasmin Ingham is about to start her dressage test.

Plus, users can also have a go at being an armchair judge for dressage! The “Score My Test” feature allows users to score a rider’s dressage test whilst watching live from the arena, or the comfort of their armchair whilst watching Badminton TV.  On Cross Country Day users will be able to follow riders’ progress around the cross country live with the Live XC Fence Analysis Feature.

Jane Tuckwell, Event Director said, “The previous app was so popular we wanted to resurrect it, and bring more engagement features into the app. It’s already proving popular, with over a thousand downloads in the first 30 minutes of being posted on our website. I really think users will love the new features”.
