MALCOLM GROUP TO BE TITLE SPONSOR AT FLOORS CASTLE INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS

The Malcom Group has been announced as the title sponsor of Floors Castle International Horse Trials which returns to the eventing calendar in May after a three-year absence.

The family run company is one of the leading providers of Logistics, Construction and Maintenance services in the UK and celebrates its centenary this year.

“We are delighted to be supporting Floors Castle as it is an event which is dear to our hearts and my wife Fiona and I have ridden there for many years.” said Andrew Malcolm, CEO, Malcolm Group

“It is a premier event in an amazing location and we hope to see it go from strength to strength.”.

The event, by kind permission of the Duke of Roxburghe, will run classes from BE80 to CCI 3*S over the weekend of May 13-15. It is being organised by the Edward family who run Hopetoun and Forgandenny under the flag of Kick On Events.

“Floors has always been one of our favourite events. As a family all six, all of us have competed there from BE90 through to Intermediate. We are delighted to have the opportunity to organise this prestigious Scottish event”

“The Malcolm Group is a long-standing supporter of Scottish Eventing, They are friendly and approachable people whom we are delighted to have on board” said organiser Bruce Edward

There were fears that Floors Castle International Horse Trials would be lost after the previous organisers announced that the 2019 event was the final one.

But, Jamie Innes, who previously organised both Floors Castle and Thirlestone Horse Trials, worked with the Edward family to bring the event back.
