JUMP TRAINING WELCOMES ELITE EQUINE UK AS NEW TITLE SPONSOR

Entries for this winter’s Jump Training (JT) open on Monday 11 October with an exciting new title sponsor, Elite Equine UK.

The Jump Training series is open to both BE Members and non-members and runs from November through to the Championship at the end of February. It is a great opportunity to compete and train before the next eventing season gets into full swing.

Three classes are available:

JT80 – with a maximum fence height of 85cm

JT90 – with a maximum fence height of 95cm

JT100 – with a maximum fence height of 105cm

The series also boasts a unique training element, where BE Accredited Coaches are on hand to provide advice and feedback on your jumping in real time. Riders gain invaluable feedback on their show jumping skills throughout the three phases of the competition:

Phase 1 – Course walk
A guided video course walk (available at www.youtube.com/user/BritishEventingGB) and rider course walks throughout the competition

Phase 2 – Warm up
Warm up session prior to the competition.

Phase 3 – Competition
A competition format which enables riders to jump one round, get feedback from the Coach and then jump again.

Both of the rounds of show jumping are given marks for style, effectiveness of riding and the quality of the horse’s jump and paces. Any show jumping faults over the two rounds are then included to produce a final score. The top 25 per cent from each class qualify for the Elite Equine Jump Training Championship – the 2022 Championship venue will be confirmed soon.

“Elite Equine UK are very excited to be taking over the title sponsorship of the Jump Training series this Winter,” said Maxie Heppell, Head of Business Development, Europe. “This marks our first, and exciting, step into the world of British Eventing, as we look to expand our reach across the different disciplines over the coming year. We look forward to meeting competitors across the country and joining the Jump Training journey this Winter.”

Elite Equine rosehip supplement offers support for the horse’s immune system, support for the horse’s own anti-inflammatory process and provides a powerful antioxidant to support muscle recovery post exercise, and all-round good health. 100% safe for use in all competition settings, and NOPS approved, Elite Equine offers wide ranging support, at a low daily cost, replacing a range of individual products.

Beccy Barrett, British Eventing’s Head of Stakeholder Management & Communications commented, “We are delighted to welcome Elite Equine on board as British Eventing Jump Training sponsors and look forward to sharing more insight into their product with our members.”
