Guided 2/3* Coursewalk with a BECC Level 4 Coach, Katie Williams at Cornbury Int’l Horse Trials

This course walk, taking place on Saturday 9 September, will cover everything required to complete The Howden Way module TA1 XC Course Walking, stages one to three. It is therefore suitable for anyone who has an interest in learning more about XC walking as well as those riding at the event.

The session will be in a small group and will be interactive, with the opportunity to walk the technical combinations and discuss lines, distances etc. Because some sections will have already run on previous days, there will be the opportunity to study the hoofprints from these and learn where horses have taken off and landed and where riders have ridden, and compare this data to what we might have expected.

Katie Williams is a highly experienced BECC Level 4 coach with riders competing at Cornbury (and other 3/4* events); she is also a Regional Youth Coach for Wales and West Midlands Region and has conducted course walks previously for the National Youth Performance Programme.

There are only 10 spaces available and is for those with a current BE competing membership and the cost is £10 per person*.
