Guidance following the death of Her Majesty The Queen

It has been confirmed by The Royal Household that the state funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday 19 September. As a mark of respect, no official BE sport or training activity will take place on that day and the office will be closed.

All other BE competitions and training taking place this week will go ahead as planned, including the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials from 15-18 September.

We are all so fortunate to have shared a deep love of horses with Her Majesty The Queen. Our sport will have certainly  provided her with some wonderful moments celebrating the medal winning successes of her daughter The Princess Royal and granddaughter Zara Tindall.

On behalf of the eventing community, British Eventing offers our heartfelt condolences to His Majesty King Charles III and all members of the Royal Family at this incredibly sad time.
