Great Britain win Team & Individual Gold along with Individual Silver
It was an incredible day today at the FEI Eventing European Championships in Haras du Pin, France when Great Britain dominated the podium by taking Team Gold along with Individual Gold and Silver.
The Team Gold was secured on a score of 103.9 ahead of Germany who took Silver on a tally of 131.2 and home nation France who claimed Bronze on 134.2 penalties.
The British team consisting of Kitty King & Vendredi Biats, Yasmin Ingham & Banzai du Loir, Laura Collett & London 52 along with Ros Canter & Lordships Graffalo set the standard from the start and proved once again the depth of strength and talent that they have to continue their global domination of the sport.
Ros Canter with Lordships Graffalo took Individual Gold, proving once again what a formidable combination they are in the competition field. Finishing on 25.3 penalties they were joined on the podium by Kitty King who finished on a score of 32.0 with Vendredi Biats to claim the Silver medal position. It was Germany’s Sandra Auffarth that managed to secure the Bronze medal position with Viamant du Matz on a score of 34.6
