British Eventing’s Arena Eventing gets underway next month, starting on 5 November at Greenlands Equestrian Centre in Cumbria. Set in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside and offering a fabulous 60x80m Andrews Bowen ProWax surface, Greenlands is an exciting new addition to the calendar for this Series.
Arena Eventing is the perfect pre-season target for those competing at BE80 to BE100. It gives riders the opportunity to practice show jumping and train over some of the more technical elements of cross country on an arena surface, whilst still providing the thrill of a competition. Open to both BE Members and non-members, competitors first complete a round of show jumps immediately followed by a cross country course.
Each competition is a qualifier for the Championships, which will take place at Aston Le Walls in Northamptonshire on 2 April 2023. Qualifiers will be taking place across the UK between November 2022 and March 2023, with the top-placed combinations in each class picking up a prized ticket to the final.
