British Eventing and British Equestrian are pleased to announce the squad that will represent Great Britain for the final leg of the 2021 FEI Eventing Nations Cup series in Boekelo this week.
This year’s Nations Cup series has unfortunately been a victim of the ongoing effects of the global pandemic, with a number of the legs being re-arranged or cancelled. However, the final fixture gets underway at Military Boekelo-Enschede this Thursday (7 October) and everyone is looking forward to ending the 2021 season on a high.
The British team, in alphabetical order are:
William Fox-Pitt and Amanda Gould’s nine-year-old mare, Grafennacht
James Rushbrooke and his own nine-year-old gelding, Milchem Eclipse
Izzy Taylor and Camilla Behrens’ nine-year-old gelding, Hartacker
Nicola Wilson and James Lambert OBE and Jo Lambert’s nine-year-old gelding, Coolparks Sarco
The team will be looking to build on the success of Tom McEwen, Georgie Spence, Mollie Summerland and Gemma Tattersall, who won the first leg for Britain at the Saracen Horse Feeds Houghton International Horse Trials back in May.
