FEI Eventing European Championships for Juniors and Young Riders: Double Gold for Great Britain

The final trials of show jumping at the FEI Eventing European Championships for Young Riders and Juniors in Strzegom were action-packed, and seconds decided who claimed a spot on the podium places.
Great Britain scored gold both in the team and individual classification in the young rider category, and Germany went double gold in the junior category.
Young Riders
A fabulous clear round from Jasmine Underwood and Indian Girl G to see them finish on 26.4, not only earns them individual gold, but also saw the British team advance from third after the cross-country to gold medal position for a total score of 93.3.
France’s Lisa Gualtieri riding A D’Aunis landed silver with 26.7, while bronze went to fellow Brit Isabelle Cook with Mexican Law on 27.5. Darcy Zander with My Eastwood Brightside (finished in 16th individually on 39.4) and Joshua Levett riding This Ones On You joined their teammates on the highest step of the podium.
“It was a very challenging weekend, but I wouldn’t have been able to win if it wasn’t for my wonderful horse. I am proud that we can work together,”said Jasmine Underwood after the win.
The team silver went to France with a score of 94.9, while Germany finished in bronze with 98.2.
