ENTRIES OPENING FOR AGRIA OASBY

Entries open for the popular season opener on the 27th January, which for 2025 will see the event run across just two days of competition in March, with classes from BE100 to Intermediate. An additional fixture will then take place on 18-19th April, with classes from BE80 to BE100, including a dedicated PT100.

Agria Oasby has become a staple fixture for many competitors seeking an early season run on good going, who travel the length and breadth of the country to compete.

The decision to reduce Oasby (1) to just two days of competition has been taken in an effort to provide consistent ground conditions across all days of competition. By moving the second two days of competition to a future date the BEDE Events team are confident of producing good going for all days of competition, with those competitors running on what would have been the third and fourth days of competition, fresh ground in April.

As eventing enthusiasts usher in the start of the 2025 British Eventing season, BEDE Events are pleased to announce increased support from Agria, the UK’s only provider of lifetime equine insurance since it launched its game changing policies here in 2022.

Agria will once again support the successful BE100 League in addition to taking the title sponsorship at Oasby.

The Agria 100 League will get underway at Oasby (1), with riders once again using the series as a pathway to season finale at Aspen Cooling Osberton this Autumn. A full schedule of fixtures included in the League will be announced in due course, with all BEDE Events included.

Agria UK CEO Vicki Wentworth commented:
“We are proud to be continuing our support of the Agria 100 League for a fantastic third year. As horse lovers ourselves, we recognise the dedication and hard work amateur riders put into eventing, and we wish all of the partnerships taking part in the series the best of luck. We’re also delighted to be kicking off the new season as title sponsors of Agria Oasby 1, 2 and 3, which are such beloved cornerstones in the eventing calendar.”

Event Director, Stuart Buntine commented:
“We have loved working with Agria over the past two seasons, their enthusiasm for the sport and equine welfare is certainly something that mirrors our own.  As much as we’re sad to not have Shelford in the calendar any longer, we’re thrilled to have Agria join us at Oasby, and to have squeezed an extra event in there too!  The Agria 100 League continues to go from strength to strength and we’re looking forward to another busy season of eventing.”

Entries will open for Agria Oasby (1) on Monday 27 January, with ballot date set for Tuesday 11 February. In previous years Oasby (1) has received significant entries and therefore competitors are urged to enter prior to ballot date. Entries for Oasby (2) will open on Monday 10 March and ballot on Tuesday 25 March.
