Did you know, Pony Club members can enjoy competing over British Eventing courses without the need of a membership thanks to a special collaboration between our organisations?
The exciting initiative is part of aΒ wider partnershipΒ between British Eventing and The Pony Club and runs for two months in August and September. It is designed to get more young people out eventing and to give them the opportunity to compete safely within a supported and progressive structure offered by the national governing body. It gives Pony Club members the opportunity to experience the benefits of competing with British Eventing but without their parents having the initial commitment of purchasing a membership.
Pony Club members just need to complete a free registration for horse and rider and they will then be able to compete in PC80, PC90 and PC100 sections, which are running at events alongside the other BE grassroots classes this summer.

Kath Inmanβs daughter Annabel won the PC80 class at Skipton Horse Trials with their six-year-old pony, Clonbollogue Lass. βIt was a massive confidence boost for Annabel to have such a nice run around a British Eventing course like Skipton,β said Kath.

βI am a big fan of the event, so it was lovey for her to have the opportunity to experience competing there and to enjoy riding round such a quality track, without the need for us to purchase a membership. Winning was a bonus!β
