There has been plenty of changes to the leader board in the CCI5*-L at Luhmuhlen following today’s cross country phase. Mike Etherington-Smith’s course posed a tough test, with a number of combinations dropping down the order – including dressage leaders, Bubby Upton and Cannavaro.
Quick clear rounds were well rewarded, with four of the Top Five riders after this phase having come home clear inside the time. Three of these combinations were British, with Oliver Townend and Dreamliner moving up three places to third; Kirsty Chabert and Classic VI climbing from eleventh to fourth; and Kylie Roddy and SRS Kan Do jumping up to fifth from twelfth.
