Chillington Hall Area Festival

Area Festival Championships and National Qualifier classes were contested at Chillington Hall Area Festival in Staffordshire over the weekend.

Chillington Hall Area Festival Champions:

  • Eve Hopkins and Fintans Finest – BE80 Area Festival Champion
  • Deborah Burrell and Imperial Tangle – BE80 Open Area Festival Champion
  • Fern Hordern and Kannan’s Boy – BE90 Area Festival Champion
  • Abby Corlett and Blue River III – BE90 Open Area Festival Champion
  • Alison Unwin and Castlelawn Hendricks Blue – BE100 Area Festival Champion
  • Sarah Turner and Ryehill Princess – BE100 Open Area Festival Champion

NAF Five Star BE80 National Qualifier:

Tassy Purnell and Shannondale Avatar won the NAF Five Star BE80 National Qualifier. They will be heading to the NAF Five Star BE80 Championship at Bramham International Horse Trials next year, together with the top percentage of placed riders in the class.

BE90 and BE100 National Qualifiers

Our National Qualifier winners and the top percentage of placed riders in the BE90 and BE100 National Qualifier classes at Chillington Hall have booked their place to The Voltaire Design Grassroots Championships at Badminton Horse Trials next spring.

BE90 National Qualifier Winners:

  • Eloise Clare and Sir Charlie Boi
  • Ruby Thompson and Ridgehill Magda
  • Shirley Cadwallader and The Sauce Pot
