Riders taking part in this year’s Novice and Intermediate Masters will be competing for some fantastic prizes, including a coveted ticket for our Big Prize Draw.
When it comes to the prizes that we are competing for, there are many things that can motivate us. For some of us it’s that moment of getting to put on a winner’s rug and sash, whilst for others it’s receiving a trophy that you can treasure and keep. Prizes in kind are a big tick for many riders (you can never have too much kit, right?!) and there will always those of us who are more focused on the memories and will be happy with simply a nice rosette and stable plaque.
The great news is that when competing in the BE Masters Series, you don’t have to choose as our winners will be receiving all the above – and more besides! Not to mention the prestige of becoming a BE Master title holder, a roll of honour with all our Novice Masters and Intermediate Masters will be held on the BE website.
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors each of our overall winners will be taking home a whole array of prizes, including:
- HorseQuest winner’s rug
- EHOA championship rosette
- British Eventing winner’s sash and rosette
- EHOA sponsored crystal decanter
- Prize bundle from Bates Saddles, including a large bag
- Prize bundle from HorseQuest, including a cap and socks
BETTALIFE will provide 1kg of PharmaPRO Total Equine Support for the winners of best dressage, highest climber, highest placed veteran, and the combination closest to the optimum time on the cross country.
Our placed riders will also have plenty to take home, with all of the top 10 receiving rosettes and prizes. Plus, every competitor that takes part will receive a stable plaque and a passport cover from HorseQuest.
For a full list of prizes see the Masters page on our website.
The Big Prize Draw
In addition to the prizes that they take home on the day, our top six riders in each Masters competition will earn themselves a ticket for our Big Prize Draw! The draw will take place at the end of all legs, with the overall winner receiving:
- A year’s British Eventing membership for horse and rider
- A year’s feed for one horse from Baileys
- A £500 voucher from Jump for Joy
A runner up will also receive a £500 Jump for Joy voucher.
You will earn one ticket for each top six placing you achieve in a Masters competition. There is no limit to the number of tickets that you are entitled to hold – the more tickets you win, the better your chance of receiving the top prize! Once the legs get underway, keep an eye on the Masters pages on the website to follow who currently holds tickets and how many they have.
How do I get involved?
The Novice and Intermediate Masters provide unique opportunities for members competing at national level, such as riding a bespoke dressage test, performing in an international sized 20m x 60m arena in front of two dressage judges plus the option to perform your test in a tailcoat, adding to the special feel of the occasion.
