Great Britain’s Bubby Upton and Cannavaro keep their place at the top of the lead board in the CCI5*-L after dressage at Luhmuhlen. Bubby achieved a score of 24.9 on Thursday with Rachel Upton’s 15-year-old gelding, a score which could not be bettered throughout the rest of the dressage phase. Lauren Nicholson is lying second for the USA with Vermiculus on a score of 26.7 and Tim Price and Vitali complete the top three at this stage of the competition on 27.1.

There are currently six British combinations in the Top 12 as we head into tomorrow’s cross country, with Bubby and Cannavaro joined by Oliver Townend and Dreamliner (6th), Fiona Kashel and WSF Carthago (=9th), Tom McEwen and Bob Chaplin (=9th), Kirsty Chabert and Classic VI (11th) and Kylie Roddy and SRS Kan Do (12th)
