British Eventing trophies awarded at Badminton Horse Trials

British Eventing presented its annual performance trophies during a special ceremony at the Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA) Lunch at Badminton Horse Trials on Wednesday 7th May 2024.

Celebrating excellence across all levels of the sport, from Pony and Junior Championships through to the Olympic Games, the awards recognised the standout achievements of riders and horses during the 2024 season.

The Calcutta Light Horse Trophy for Leading Horse went to Izilot DHI, owned by Ros Canter and Alex Moody, who topped the leaderboard with 427 points.

Young talent was also well represented. Isabelle Cook claimed the Edy Goldman Cup for Leading U21 Rider, while Coco Lanni and Arabella Henderson were recognised for their top performances at Junior and Pony European Championships, respectively. Jasmine Underwood was awarded the Sir John Burder Trophy for winning gold at the Young Rider European Championships.

At Senior level, Laura Collett received the Jane Holderness-Roddam Trophy for being the highest placed senior British rider at the Paris Olympics, where she secured an individual bronze medal

The Wide Awake Trophy for Leading British-Bred Horse went to Lordships Graffalo, owned by Archie Saul and ridden by Ros Canter, after earning 324 BE points. Rising star Bubby Upton was awarded the Britannia Trophy, topping the 4 League* with one win and two second-place finishes, the highest among riders yet to represent Britain at a Championship.

British Eventing CEO Rosie Williams said: “These awards are a brilliant celebration of the hard work, talent and dedication shown by our athletes and horses. From those at the top of the international stage to our rising stars, we are proud of what they have achieved this season.
