British Eventing team confirmed for CCI4* Nations Cup, Millstreet

 

The third leg of the FEI Eventing Nations Cup takes place in Ireland on 1-4 June 2023 at Millstreet Horse Trials. The following team has been selected to represent Great Britain.

Kirsty Chabert from Salisbury, Wiltshire with 14-year-old mare Classic VI, jointly owned by Kate Ward, John Johnston and Carole Somers.

Tom Grant from Malmesbury, Gloucestershire, with 12-year-old gelding MGH Tokyo Phil, jointly owned by Karla Wheatcroft.

Katie Preston from Cranbrook, Kent, with 9-year-old mare Templar Juno, jointly owned by herself and the Juniper Syndicate.

Ben Way from Rugby, Warwickshire, with 9-year-old gelding Gun Law, owned by Nicky Lay.

The teams will be accompanied by Chef d’Equipe Philip Surl

The British Eventing teams are supported by the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Programme, funded by UK Sport through the National Lottery. The Programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage.
