BRITISH EVENTING OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ANDREW & ABIGAIL TURNBULL OF RICHMOND HORSE TRIALS

It is with sadness that we have decided not to run Richmond Horse Trials (2) in September 2022.This decision has not been taken lightly, however with low entries and restrictions in place, as well as our British Eventing dates clashing with Badminton and Burghley’s, we must be pragmatic to ensure the long term success of Richmond Horse Trials.

We will turn our full attention to running one British Eventing Competition in May 2022.

Although a sad decision, this will give us chance to run more of our own events on the Cross Country fields, including The Richmond Cup (Saturday 16th July 2022), Pleasure Rides, Cross Country Schooling (90cm to Intermediate), Hunter Trials and more.

It will also mean that our wonderful team of staff and volunteers will get the chance to attend Burghley Horse Trials, which is a nearby favourite and has been missing from the BE calendar for the last 2 years.

We thank you all for your continued support of Richmond Horse Trials and Richmond Equestrian Centre and we hope to see you all soon.
