Congratulations to all youth riders that have been selected to represent their region at the BE100 and Novice Youth Championships taking place at Bishop Burton, East Yorkshire between the 27 – 30 July.
The Regional Youth Championships give younger riders the chance to gain experience of competing at a prestigious championship and the honour of representing their local region. The BE100 Championships and the Novice, which is contested as a CCI2*-L format, will see both team and individual titles awarded.
The eight regions, which span England, Scotland and Wales, will see combinations coming forward who were identified and selected via the BE Regional Youth Leagues, which can be found here.
A full list of the riders selected along with their horse/pony can be found here: Bishop Burton Youth teams.
The BE Regional Youth Programme incorporates training for riders aged 12 – 21, along with the competition and training at BE80, BE90, BE100 and Novice level for under 18 riders who are aiming for the BE Regional Youth Championships. It also offers training and support for those riders wishing to compete in OIU21 competitions.
The programme also provides the opportunity for members to have the honour of representing their region at the BE Regional Youth Championships – held each year at Chillington Hall in Staffordshire (BE80 and BE90 Open) or Bishop Burton in East Yorkshire (BE100 Open and CCI2*-L).
