Beautiful Brightling is back!

Brightling Park is making its return to the British Eventing calendar this July (1st – 2nd).  A calendar favourite for the southern region, it boasts spectacular views and warm hospitality.

With the team hard at work, competitors can expect a new look cross-country course – re-routed to flow around the park. New portable fences from Hickstead and Firle will feature prominently, as well as new permanent fences that are being constructed by Scott Brickell.

New land drains have been added over the past few months to support the ground care efforts, and should the drier weather continue, there is an aggrevator on standby to prepare the going to BEDE’s high standards.

If a new cross-country challenge wasn’t enough to entice competitors in, there are additional prizes in abundance to aim for.

Saracen Horse Feeds Local Rider BE90 & Novice
Kindly sponsored by local brand Saracen Horse Feeds, local riders will benefit from an enhanced prize pot, dressage on the lawns and a dedicated prize-giving for the newly created feature classes – “Local Rider BE90” on Saturday and “Local Rider Novice” on Sunday.

To be included in the Local Rider sections, please add “Local Rider” to the special requests box when making your entry.

Agria Lifetime Equine BE100 League
BE100 competitors at Brightling will also benefit from the new Agria Lifetime Equine BE100 League that is open to registered members of British Eventing who haven’t competed at Intermediate or above in the previous five years.
