BE new members offer – Pony Club members encouraged to come eventing

From today, Pony Club members will be able to enjoy a 40% New Member Discount* on an Introductory membership with British Eventing. This fabulous reduction will apply for two years, giving more young riders the opportunity to train and compete with BE.

The introduction of this offer comes at an exciting time for young riders who want to begin eventing, with the minimum age to join BE having been reduced to 10 years. Riders from 10 upwards will now be able to enjoy competing in BE’s new Harry Hall One Club Anyone Can Event (ACE) series throughout the winter and set their sights on picking up a coveted qualifying ticket for the Championship Finals, set to be held next June at the stunning Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool. Riders from 12 upwards are, in addition, able to set their sights on the Winter Arena Eventing series which has its Final at the end of the Winter at Aston Le Walls, as well as being able to compete at BE events next season.

They will also be able to benefit from participating in a fantastic regional training programme, which will be delivered via The Howden Way Regional Academy framework. The new programme will give riders access to top class training and education within their local BE community, enabling all BE members to train like an Olympian! The Howden Way Regional Academies will launch before the end of the year, making it the perfect time to consider taking out your first 12-month membership which will also carry you through the 2023 season!

Helen West, Chief Executive for British Eventing said, “We are thrilled to be introducing this special membership offering for Pony Club members. It was so rewarding seeing young riders having their first taste of affiliated competition in our Pony Club classes over the summer months and this new initiative will allow more Pony Club members to step into Eventing seamlessly alongside their Pony Club membership.”

Marcus Capel, Chief Executive of The Pony Club said, “We are delighted to be working in collaboration with British Eventing in this way to benefit our members. Training is the core of what we do at The Pony Club and our members will now be able to enjoy this discipline specific offering in addition to our wide range of coaching sessions, competitions and camps, together with our highly-respected progressive series of badges and tests. Working collectively in this way can only be of benefit to our members and we look forward to seeing many of our members, who started their eventing experience with ourselves, go on to have great success within British Eventing also.”
