British Eventing (BE) are calling for nominations to serve on the FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale) Eventing Committee.
The FEI Eventing Committee is responsible for managing risk, making recommendations, and approving changes to the eventing rules. The FEI Eventing Committee also works to ensure that eventing competitions are run in accordance with FEI regulations.
The nominee will represent the best interests of British Eventing while contributing to the development of the sport globally.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must meet both FEI and British Eventing criteria, which generally include:
- Extensive experience in eventing, either as a rider, owner, coach, organiser, or technical official.
- Knowledge of international eventing regulations, governance, and competition structures.
- A strong track record of contributing to the sport’s development, both domestically and internationally.
- Commitment to upholding FEI values of fair play, horse welfare, and sustainability in eventing.
- The ability to dedicate time and resources to the role, including attending committee meetings and events.
- Be proficient in English.
- No current investigations or sanctions against that person or who owes money to BE/BEF (i.e. other disciplines)

- A detailed CV outlining their experience in the eventing industry, with a focus on leadership roles and international experience.
- A personal statement or cover letter explaining their interest in the role and how their experience aligns with the requirements.
The selected candidate will need to fill in an FEI form at a later date.
