There was a real treat for those who ended their 2022 season at Bicton Arena International in Devon, where riders competing at BE90 and BE100 got to take on the challenge of a full three-day event.
In addition to the individual competitions, there was also the excitement of a team competition where riders came together in teams of four to collectively challenge for glory.

International Winners
The last CCI3*-S of the 2022 season was won by Ireland’s Padraig Mccarthy and Sarah Gough’s eight-year-old gelding, Pomp N Circumstance. The pair finished on their dressage score of 31.1, more than four penalties ahead of Britain’s Barnie Brotherton and DHI King Nelson in second (36.6) and Rose Nesbitt and EG Michealangelo (38.4) in third.
Britain’s Laura Schroter and Marengo Bonaparte closed their 2022 campaign with a win in the CCI2*-L. The seven-year-old gelding, owned by J Henrik Schroter, Nick and Beccy Harris and the rider, picked up just 0.4-time penalties on the cross country to complete on a score of 28.1. Second place went to New Zealand’s Tayla Mason and Joopiter; and Britain’s Tina Cook and Cymoon “F” Z took third.
The CCI2*-S honours went to Georgia Bartlett and Georgie Paske and Katie Bartlett’s La Paz W (Section B); and Katie Thomas and her own Cefnpant Iolo (Section H).
